Deciding whether to begin or continue your real estate career as a solo agent or with an established team can be a critical decision that can impact your success in the industry. As a solo agent, you have the freedom to work independently and make your own decisions, but you may lack the support and resources that come with being part of a team. On the other hand, joining an established team can provide you with mentorship, guidance, and access to a network of potential clients, but you may have to share commissions and adhere to team policies. Ultimately, the decision comes down to your individual preferences, skills, and goals. If you are a self-starter who is comfortable with taking on the responsibilities of running your own business and building your own client base, being a solo agent may be the right choice for you. eXp Certified Mentor
📣 Jason Peterson REALTOR® is your eXp Certified Mentor 🏅 The Mentor Program at eXp Realty provides newly licensed agents with a partner and a path to gain the fundamental knowledge needed to start and build a successful real estate career. Each new agent, known as the mentee, is paired with an experienced agent like Jason Peterson who has been certified through the Mentor Program. This pairing occurs shortly after a new agent’s license is transferred to eXp Realty. Members of the Mentor Program team pair mentees with mentors who share their geographic area. Certified Mentors must demonstrate proficiency in the field of real estate and be approved by the State Broker Team. The mentor’s objective is to provide guidance in a practical, hands-on way, and to lead new eXp agents through each step of the process for their first required transactions. Mentees will also be enrolled in an 8-week rolling course called the GO!
