Would you consider waiving an inspection?

by Jason Peterson

Would you consider waiving an inspection on a home sold “As-Is”?

📣 Attention all homebuyers! Could you skip out on a critical review of the home you’re purchasing?

🛠️ As-Is: This means the seller is offering the property in its current condition, with no repairs or improvements. It's essential to understand any potential issues upfront.

🚫 Waiving the Home Inspection: This involves forgoing the typical home inspection (due diligence) process, which could uncover hidden problems. It's a risk that some buyers may take to strengthen their offer in competitive markets.

🕵️‍♂️ What would you do? No professional real estate agent will ever recommend that you waive the home inspection. Even if the seller makes it clear upfront that they do not intend on making any requested repairs or offering seller concessions to the buyer, it is your right to inspect the home and your responsibility.
